David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are known for their major roles in “The X-Files,” but now they’re getting their dream house on the market.
The couple hopes to pay homage to California history, and also show off the most recent restoration that’s transformed the humble tree-filled lot into a 5,000-square-foot –and-counting — hilltop Hollywood Hills pad.

“We’ve made it a little more than our hands can physically do, and we’ve made it as authentic and wonderful as we can,” Duchovny told CNN’s Rachel Crane

The new season also features Anderson as FBI special agent Dana Scully , and David Duchovny as her partner, Fox Mulder
The two actors can be seen as agents are tracking Mulder’s boss William Robert Mulder (played by Stewart Barton), and Patrick Leslie’s character Eric “Leon” Burnett.
Season Four premieres Sunday, September 16 at 9 p.m. ET on FOX
