Priyanka Chopra is proving to be all smiles despite all the breakup chatter surrounding her and Nick Jonas.
After moving into their brand new $4.6 million Los Angeles home, the duo were spotted having dinner in Santa Monica, Calif., which critics immediately assumed was a cry for help. While there were plenty of rumors that the couple had split after only being together for a matter of weeks, it turns out the stately building, where the couple enjoyed a romantic meal with friends, is Chopra’s home – not Jonas’.
The slugger later returned to his bachelor pad to do his thing and posted a sexy video from inside of his living room on social media.
Although Jonas, 25, has been staying with Chopra’s parents in Mumbai while she shoots her new film, A Kid Like Jake, it seems like things may be well.
Dating rumors have been swirling for awhile, following their reported romance over the holidays and an outing to India on New Year’s Eve. The plot thickened after Chopra’s family was vacationing in India and onlookers thought the feeling must have been mutual as Jonas couldn’t keep his hands off the actress, kissing her multiple times.
Chopra also made it clear in her first big public appearance following the breakup at the Jan. 5 Golden Globes that she was single. She said, “I am really single. I am trying to have fun.”
After all the speculation, Chopra was in her element at the Jan. 9 A Kid Like Jake premiere, where she was sporting blue nail polish and smiling, proving that not everything is bad in paradise for the couple.
Chopra, 36, and Jonas reportedly broke up for the first time in August, but they continued dating on a “trial basis” since then.
As for the truth about the split, Chopra is staying quiet, but she did gift Jonas a home-cooked Indian dinner during their fancy meal, and shared it with her social media fans on Instagram.
“After a feast of Indian food we had. @nickjonas let me take a photo. With my amazing guest who came last to my dinner table last night….my love!” she wrote alongside the one-minute throwback video.
Chopra even managed to laugh off the following week’s dinner-crashing journalist. “Felt like having a new Christmas gift last night.
