Fresh off his wedding to Argentinian model Luisana Lopilato earlier this month, Grammy Award winner Michael Bublé, 39, is in the spotlight promoting his latest Christmas single “Christmas Me”. The image may evoke memories of Star Wars cosplay parties at your uncle’s house, but it’s actually the latest seasonal tune to hit the Internet courtesy of the Canadian crooner.
According to Billboard, “Christmas Me” finds Bublé singing about liking Christmas sweaters as he dons one himself. Donning a bright red ski jacket (which, of course, matches his massive diamond engagement ring), the singer references girlfriend Lopilato as he sings: “Santa Claus goes where he please, does what he likes/and takes little girls where he please, does what he likes/and holds big boys where he please, takes little girls where he please.”
The single has already reached over 2 million views on YouTube, but it will now have to fend off intense competition from that infamous Canadian twerker Shawn Mendes who released his brand new festive classic “There’s a Place for Us”. Our pick for Top Pop Song of the Year is Shawn Mendes – Leave him be.
